The Journey takes 21 days to reach Pandharpur through foot march. Two specific pilgrimages honor the two most revered Palkis Many Palkis join the Main Sant Tukaram and Sant Dnyaneshwar Palkis along the way. On 20th Day of Yatra, both Palkis meet at common point i.e. Wakhari.

The Wari route being about 240-250km walk the devotees halt at different locations around 10 various locations during the day which is divided into 3 parts i.e the first break, lunch break, and post-lunch break and apart from these halts, there are 16 other places for night stay. The kms between these halts are as follows.

At our very first edition of “Walk With Wari” we will be following the march of Sant Tukaram Palki, which starts from Dehu and covers 258 KM.

In this well-organized Wari, the Warkaris are cautious about their diet & nutrition.

Their food consists of simple dishes, such as roti and sabzi, daal and rice, upma, poha, gulab jamun, boondi laddu, or other sweets.

In addition to this the Warkaris dance, sing kirtans, chanting the Lord's name and bhajans during their journey to express the feeling of devotion to Lord Vitthal.

This pilgrimage is not like any other festival or procession, it only depicts peace, harmony, love, and affections towards each other and to their Lord, and with great discipline the Warkaris head towards their destination.

This phenomenon has always been a symbol of unity and togetherness
